At that time, all prepackaged foods sold in Hong Kong (except for special dietary foods) must be labeled with energy values ​​and 7 core nutrient contents such as protein, fat, saturated fat, trans fat, carbohydrates, sugar, and sodium. If any other nutritional claims are made on the label, the nutrient content involved in the claim must be added. The nutrition claims made on the labels must be scientific, clear, and clear. Such obscure claims as "healthy", "beneficial", etc. will no longer be allowed to continue to be used, and relevant Hong Kong agencies will strengthen the supervision of misleading or fraudulent nutrition labels. Foods that do not meet the requirements of nutrition labeling regulations will be forced. Off the shelf.
