1. Texture

Some specialty papers will be uneven and cannot be selected for the situation where the fineness of the dots is very high. The difference between some domestic pearlescent papers and imported pearlescent papers is the inking color. The inking color of the domestic paper is poor. Usually it is darker after printing. Pearlescent paper avoids this kind of problem; therefore, it is not recommended to use domestic pearlescent paper for clothing albums with high requirements on color and color, but some albums are designed to use domestic pearlescent paper. This mainly depends on the design drawings and the customer's requirements for the printing effect of the album. After all, imported paper will be much more expensive.

2. Ink

Special paper with a particularly smooth surface has poor ink absorption, and will stick to dirt if not noticed during printing. Therefore, it is better to choose quick-drying inks, and add drying oils that can promote the rapid drying of the inks in each color ink to improve the drying speed of the inks and avoid the paper surface sticking failure during printing.

For special paper with high surface smoothness, such as pearlescent paper, ice white paper, high-color smooth paper, etc., the ink color should not be too saturated when printing, use the normal amount of ink. Because the smoother the surface of the paper, the worse the ink absorption, and the greater the amount of ink, the easier it is to cause the back of the paper to become dirty.

Special paper with a rough surface, such as hand-kneaded paper, double-coated paper, rice paper, kraft paper, writing paper, and Doolin paper, etc., have texture and are not smooth to the touch. When printing, this paper has good ink absorption, and the ink will penetrate into the paper's lines. After the ink is dried, the color of the printed product will be lighter and the printing quality will be reduced. Therefore, for this special paper, the amount of ink supplied during printing is larger than usual, and the requirements for saturation are also higher.

3. Trial printing

When printing special paper, every time when the machine is turned off, it will cause vibration due to the pressure of the machine, which makes the first 10 printed products darker in color and causes color instability. Especially when printing flat screen jobs, too many downtimes will cause greater waste. In addition, due to the high price of specialty paper, the amount of material left by the staff when placing an order is very small, and the printing requirements of specialty paper are higher than ordinary paper. 4. Dry
