The advantages of waterless UV offset printing are outstanding, full ink color, bright color, strong three-dimensional sense, the color is basically consistent during the printing process, and the operation is relatively convenient and fast. At present, the price of anhydrous UV ink required for business card is slightly higher than that of general UV ink, but basically the same; the price of anhydrous UV printing plate used is also slightly higher, especially the hardware configuration of the workshop environment and the configuration requirements of the machine. High, as far as possible under the conditions of constant humidity and constant temperature in the offset printing workshop, dust-free as much as possible. The constant temperature and constant humidity have a great influence on the amount of ink and the fluidity of the ink. At present, there are two types of waterless UV offset printing on the card making: one is the special waterless single card offset printing machine; the other is the waterless offset printing machine converted from the original large-scale waterless offset printing machine. The modification of large offset printing machines basically needs to be equipped with water-cooled ink-crossing roller device, ink fountain roller cooling device and plate cylinder cooling device (mainly water-cooled and air-cooled). Ink rollers must use ink rollers that are compatible with water-free UV inks. Among them, the requirements for the four plate-based ink rollers are relatively high. The ink rollers must be free of aging, expansion, and shedding. The pressure on both ends must be the same. When adjusting the pressure, on the basis of the water printing, the pressure of each ink roller by the plate is correspondingly subtracted by 1mm. Excessive pressure will directly affect the reproduction of the dot. Judging from the current quality of domestic waterless offset printing, the deformation of water-free printing dots is slightly larger than that of water-based printing, the edges of the dots are not round enough, and they are slightly oily. This is where waterless printing needs further improvement. Judging from the high requirements and high standards of card printing, waterless printing still has a lot of room for development.
