Viscosity regulators that increase processing throughput

Techmer PM, Inc. of Rancho Dominguez, Calif., introduced the PM 13030, a new product for plastic viscosity modifiers. It is designed to reduce plastic processing time, reduce back pressure, and save energy. The use of PM 13030 can increase processing throughput without affecting or reducing the physical properties of final products such as films, extruded profiles or injection molded articles. Its wide application range includes even high viscosity like UHMW HDPE. Polyolefins. The new additive has been approved by the US FDA (Food and Drug Administration), and is approved for use in applications related to food contact. It is applicable to many types of food packaging, thermoformed products and extruded pipes.

The carrier resin of conventional PM 13030 is polypropylene (PP) pellets, and Tech-mer PM can also provide a product to replace the carrier resin according to customer requirements.
