Sherwin-Williams has introduced innovative Dutch Boy® brand paints using square foot High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Twist & PourTM containers. P&G launched Folgers coffee in 2003 with re-sealable AromaSealTM HDPE extrusion blow molded coffee cans with in-molded handles, opening up new horizons for coffee packaging and sales. The coffee cans are supplied by Plaxicon/Liquid Containers, which are sealed by injection-molded elastic caps and peel-off metallized polyester film under covers, combined with one-way exhaust valves. Consumers respond well to new coffee packaging. P&G's long-term plan is to phase out traditional three-piece steel coffee cans and replace them with HDPE containers.
