Squeegee edges will eventually be damaged due to friction with the screen. Grinding can be used to sharpen the edge of the squeegee again. In the squeegee grinding should pay attention to the following points:

1. Grinding with coarse and fine grinding wheels to minimize the loss of the squeegee material during grinding and to ensure that the edge of the squeegee is clean and free from stains, and the speed of rotation of the grinding wheel is low;
2. When you need to quickly remove a large piece of squeegee material, you can use rough grinding wheel for grinding;
3. If you only need to smooth the squeegee, use very fine sandpaper;
4. When cutting a part of the scraper off with a just-cutting knife, it is necessary to ensure that the trimmed scraper is clean and free from nicks when it needs to be reground;
5. After the squeegee is printed, it is not necessary to immediately grind it, and it must be left for 24 hours until the solvent is completely evaporated.
6. Make sure that the edge of the squeegee is straight when dressing.
