On June 3, 1950, MILLET opened a historic page: Humans used MILLET products for the first time to board the 8000-meter summit: Anna Pruna (8043 meters, Nepal), aroused world attention. Louis Lachenal and Maurice Herzog both succeeded. Before reaching the summit, they conceived and developed backpacks with their friends in Milton's MILLET brothers to accommodate high altitude climbs. The revolutionary improvements of these backpacks helped them reach the mysterious Anna Pruna. Experience has further enriched the technical experience. Since then, MILLET has been pursuing the combination of the greatest names in mountaineering and listening to and sharing their spirits and beliefs. The famous mountaineering athletes have extensively penetrated into the development of new products, even very professional equipment (clothing, backpacks, shoes, ropes), in order to perfectly meet the requirements of different mountain sports. From a variety of experiences we have the power to innovate and truly adhere to the MILLET climbing concept. The experience of MILLET is a unique experience that is the key to advancement in the field of high-altitude mountain climbing. At the same time, these experiences can be shared only through moderation and patience. Some climbers have to stop moving a few meters away from the summit, while others have to postpone to tomorrow. Every climber will have to make a painful decision to give up and move on at certain times. However, with the joy of completing the summit, the difficult moments of being forced to retreat will be forgotten as the eternal moments with friends and mountaineering companions are shared. When we develop new equipment, this experience is exactly what MILLET sought. More than 50 years of experience in the development of mountaineering products have made us very demanding: carefully select each raw material; carefully study each function; test each sample under real conditions. Whether it is a backpack, boots, rope, or protective clothing, it can only be put into production if it fully meets the requirements of the development plan. If quality or functional defects are found, we will reconsider and design. We have met this demanding requirement, including every detail consideration that comes from you and your climbing experience. Sharing these experiences is an invisible bond between climbers and MILLET products. It began more than 50 years ago when the MILLET brothers' revolutionary improvements to backpacks have been maintained. We have always insisted on being in action, mingling with happiness and disappointment in adventure. Success is always associated with the latest technological innovations and the best equipment. We always insist on the wealth that helps us to advance: your experience.
