In actual work, there are four types of transmission originals: monochrome advertisement films, four-color separation advertisement films, negative images shot by ordinary cameras, and reversal films shot by professional cameras. 1 monochrome advertising film: almost all scanners can scan this type of document. When scanning, select Original:Transparent; Mode:Line; the resolution is determined according to the number of screen lines and output precision. The most critical parameter is the size of the threshold, depending on the scanner, and some scanners such as the Agfa platform scanner, the larger the threshold setting, the brighter the effect; some scanners such as Lenovo For a small platform scanner, the larger the threshold setting, the darker the effect.

Two- and four-color advertising film: This type of transmitted document must be scanned using a professional CopyDot scanner, such as the Baldwin Esko Scan series scanner. Operation must be carefully patched and accurately positioned, and then scan according to pre-set parameters, these parameters include: ScanMode, Destination î—¤ picture format, Reso-lution (resolution), Threshold î—¤ threshold And Separation Preview.

3 Color Negative: Not all scanners have the ability to scan negatives. When scanning, select OriginaNegative;Mode:ColorRGB; and set the appropriate scanning resolution. Some professional scanners, such as the Heidelberg Tango series of roller scanners, also require that the type of film base corresponding to the color negative film be set, but the scan results are usually color casts heavier. Therefore, in actual work, it is recommended that customers provide as much photos as possible after washing.

4 Reversal film: This kind of high-quality professional manuscript is very common in the actual scanning work, the scanner usually has the function of scanning this kind of manuscript. When scanning, select Original, Transparent, Mode, and ColorRGB to set the corresponding scanning resolution. Some professional scanners such as Heidelberg deep Go series drum scanners, but also set the appropriate type of film base. For this type of manuscript, the low- and mid-range scanners do not perform well. It is best to use electric extensions, roller scanners, and professional platform scanners to scan.
