Household electrical circuit laying and electrical fire safety knowledge

HC Fire Network News Meets September 4th CFIC2017 China Fire Safety Industry Conference

In recent years, with the popularization of home decoration and the widespread use of household appliances, fire accidents caused by improper wiring of electrical circuits and improper use of electrical appliances have become more prominent, which should cause widespread concern and high attention of the majority of families. Today, special collections have been compiled for household electrical appliances. Some fire prevention knowledge on line laying and electrical appliance use is for your reference:

1. How to lay electrical lines in the family

(1) The voltage withstand voltage of the conductor should be higher than the working voltage of the line, and the safety current of the section should be greater than the load current;

(2) The line should avoid the heat source, if it must pass, it should be insulated;

(3) The metal components used for laying the line shall be treated with anti-corrosion treatment;

(4) Various wirings should be laid horizontally and vertically. When the wire is laid horizontally, it shall be no less than 2.5m from the ground and not less than 1.8m when it is laid vertically, otherwise it needs to be protected;

(5) The wire shall be installed through the wall pipe through the wall, and the two ends shall protrude from the wall surface not less than 10 mm;

(6) During the decoration, the wires shall be protected by metal pipes or PVC pipes with an oxygen index greater than 35;

(7) The cross-sectional area of the wire shall be one greater than the actual load;

(8) Heating parts such as lighting fixtures and ballasts should be installed on non-combustible materials.

2, how to prevent wire insulation damage

(1) The current through the wire should not exceed the safe current carrying capacity of the wire;

(2) Do not expose the wires to moisture, heat, corrosion or bruises or crushing, and do not allow the wires to pass through places with high temperature, high humidity, corrosive vapors and gases.

(3) The wire should be properly protected and treated through the place where it is easily damaged;

(4) Temporary laying should also be fixed to prevent the occurrence of pulling, scraping and pressing, and to maintain a certain safe distance of the lamps;

(5) Regularly check the repair line, if it is defective, it should be repaired immediately, and the old and aging wire must be replaced in time.

3. How to prevent the wire from being overloaded

(1) Select the appropriate size of the wire according to the amount of electricity used;

(2) The line shall be installed in accordance with the device regulations to prevent leakage and short-circuit contact accidents due to insulation damage;

(3) Always check the line load and insulation, and find out the problem in time;

(4) The fuses used to protect the line or equipment should be properly selected;

(5) The fuse shall not be thickened at will or replaced by copper wire or iron wire;

(6) The air switch should calculate the total value of the electrical energy of the entire room and set the insurance value.

4. How to prevent TV from causing fire

(1) The TV should be placed in a good ventilation and heat dissipation;

(2) Do not use the remote control to turn off the TV for a long time. After watching the TV, turn off the power and unplug the plug.

(3) The viewing time should not be too long;

(4) Try to watch TV as much as possible during thunderstorms. Do not use outdoor antennas.

(5) The TV installation should be stable to prevent the explosion from igniting.

5, how to prevent refrigerator fire

(1) Do not put flammable or explosive materials such as gasoline, alcohol, adhesives, etc. into the refrigerator to avoid explosion;

(2) The refrigerator should not be used in an environment with flammable gas. It is not allowed to use flammable paint next to the refrigerator. If gas or liquefied petroleum gas leaks are found, do not pull out the power plug or switch the refrigerator door and turn off the temperature controller. Otherwise, an electric spark will be generated and cause an explosion.

(3) Absorption refrigerators, always check the sealing of the system piping to avoid leakage of refrigerant and cause explosion and explosion accidents;

(4) Place it in a good ventilation and heat dissipation position.

6, how to prevent air conditioning fire

(1) The air conditioner should be equipped with a protective device. In case of failure, the fuse cuts off the power supply;

(2) When using air conditioners, it should be operated in strict accordance with the requirements of air conditioner use;

(3) The watt-hour meter and wires of the air conditioner should have sufficient margin and select the appropriate power fuse to prevent overload;

(4) The air conditioner must be grounded or zero-protected, and the thermal insulation resistance should be no less than 2 megohms. The sealed terminal block of the hermetic compressor should be subjected to pressure and insulation tests to prevent the freezing oil from causing spillage. ;

(5) No flammable materials should be stacked around the air conditioner, and the curtains should not be placed on the window air conditioner.

(6) Outdoor fans should be equipped with rain-proof facilities and maintained frequently.

7. What problems should be paid attention to after power failure?

(1) When using emergency lighting such as candles in the home, keep away from flammable materials such as curtains and paper. The candles should be placed on non-combustible objects, and must be taken care of, so that people leave or sleep to extinguish the fire;

(2) The power plugs of electric irons such as electric irons, hair dryers, electric blankets, etc. should be dialed out in time to prevent these appliances from burning around the combustibles after the call.
