" Under the leadership of the Printing Department of the General Administration and the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the China Printing Association, together with the Quality Inspection Center of the General Administration and the Electronics Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, jointly carried out the self-declaration promotion of green printing. The main task is to establish a green printing system in the entire printing industry, and its core is to turn green printing production into the basic behavior of enterprises, so that more printing enterprises will enter the ranks of green production.

Under the leadership of the Transportation Department and the Science and Technology Department of the General Administration, the formulation of the "Green Printing Series Industry Standards" of the National Printing Standardization Technical Committee was fully launched. In March 2014, the Printing Standards Committee organized a standard drafting group meeting in Beijing to launch "Green Printing General Technical Requirements and Evaluation Methods", "Green Printing Product Sampling and Sample Preparation Methods", and "Green Printing Product Qualification Judgment Guidelines. The drafting and formulation of 6 industry standards: "Part 1 Primary and Secondary School Textbooks", "Green Print Products Qualification Criteria Part 2 Reading Prints", "Green Printing Terminology" and "Green Printing Standard System Table". At present, the first draft of the green printing series industry standard has been completed and is expected to be released in the second half of this year.

The environmental label product certification issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, also known as Shihuan certification, is based on the unique functions of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and is the only environmental label certification standard for the printing industry. The Green Printing Standard drafted by the National Printing Standardization Committee and drafted by experts from the National Printing Standardization Committee this time was designated by the General Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television as the general technical rule for green printing, focusing on energy saving, emission reduction and advanced technology related to the production process of the product. Application, this series of standards is more detailed and clear, which laid the foundation for the next stage of green printing product testing and green printing self-life work. At the same time, the standard can also be used for the certification of green printing companies, giving green printing companies more choices.
