Bathroom cleaners extend reach

A new multi-purpose bathroom cleaner, X-14 Orange from WD-40, San Diego, California, incorporates the latest packaging design, combines aerosol cans and a wide range of spray nozzles, has a unique look on the shelf, and improved jetting capabilities. According to Tim Lesmeister, vice president of marketing at WD-40, in order to “help consumers clean their bathrooms faster and better”, cleaner packages with orange flavors use 22-oz stainless aluminum aerosol cans and Round bottleneck from CCL Container.

The tank's spray outlet uses a Sirena(R) integral polypropylene nozzle from Seaquist Perfect Dispensing. It is said that the spray generated by this nozzle can cover four times as much area as competing products. Lesmeister commented: "The sprayer not only achieves a wide range of coverage, but also has good visual effects."

The pattern of the jar was provided by Joseph Marcou Design. The background of the can body is an orange brick pattern. The orange pattern and the product name are printed in the center. Lesmeister pointed out that this packaging design shows that the product can "simplify the cleaning process while easily solving the foam problem."
