**Ï€-Glutathione S-Transferase (Ï€GST) ELISA Kit**
**Purpose:**
This ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative determination of π-glutathione S-transferase (πGST) in human serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. It provides a reliable and sensitive method to assess πGST levels, which can be useful in various clinical and research applications.
**Experimental Principle:**
The kit employs a double-antibody sandwich ELISA technique. A microtiter plate is pre-coated with a specific monoclonal antibody against πGST. After adding the sample, any πGST present will bind to the immobilized antibody. A horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-labeled secondary antibody is then added, forming a complex of antibody-antigen-enzyme-labeled antibody. Following a thorough wash, the substrate TMB is introduced. Under the catalytic action of HRP, TMB turns blue and is then stopped by an acidic solution, resulting in a yellow color. The intensity of the color is directly proportional to the concentration of πGST in the sample. The absorbance is measured at 450 nm using a microplate reader, and the πGST concentration is determined by comparing the results to a standard curve.
