Experience Report:
I tested the OSAH Gull Bike Waterproof Bag on June 14, 2015, under sunny and cloudy weather conditions. I’m a male with a height of 177cm, and I used it on city roads. The bag features well-crafted fasteners that make it easy to open and retrieve items. The fastener connection is securely attached, and the material is durable. The Velcro base is fixed on the frame, and the bag is firmly attached on both sides. The bottom hook is designed to hang on the bicycle frame, making it convenient for quick access.
The bag has one shoulder strap and can be easily converted into a shoulder bag. The swivel hangers allow for quick attachment and detachment. The open design made it easy to access contents without any inconvenience. I placed a camera bag, glasses cases, pots, burners, gas tank, tea set, tripod, and lock inside. There was still space for additional items. Even when carrying heavy gear, the weight was balanced on both sides, ensuring stability during the ride.
During testing, the bag remained fully waterproof despite hot weather. The mesh material allowed some heat buildup inside, but no water entered. However, there are a few areas for improvement. The bottom could be reinforced for better durability, and the back part might benefit from added padding to prevent friction with the frame. Additionally, the Velcro may wear out over time, so using snap or clip fasteners would be more reliable.
