First, the customer profile

Beijing Jieru Kindergarten, established in August 1949, is located at No. 29, Chengfang Street, Xicheng District, Beijing. Situated in the bustling Financial Street area, the kindergarten boasts a beautiful environment and top-notch facilities. It is equipped with advanced multimedia teaching equipment, a computer room, a reading room, and multi-functional classrooms. In 2009, it was officially recognized as a first-class kindergarten in Beijing, reflecting its long-standing commitment to quality education.

The kindergarten employs over 60 staff members, including 39 teachers. Among them, 14 are senior teachers, 2 are district-level academic leaders, and 5 are district-level key teachers. Of the teaching staff, 33 hold college degrees, making up 85% of the total, while 11 have bachelor’s degrees, representing 28%. The educational qualifications of the staff continue to improve year by year, demonstrating a strong focus on professional development.

Dedicated to the principle of "everything for the children," the kindergarten firmly upholds the educational philosophy of "developing children, serving parents, and achieving teachers." It strictly follows the guidelines outlined in the "Procedures" and "Outline," actively engaging in teaching research activities to enhance the overall competence of its teachers.

Second, customer needs

The kindergarten requires a system that can collect audio and video content from the front end and transmit it through a live broadcast encoder to a designated media resource management platform. This will enable live streaming of network videos, allowing indoor and outdoor activities and drills to be broadcast in real-time to PCs and projectors in classrooms.

Third, customer status

The existing setup includes high-definition cameras capable of outputting HDMI/SDI signals, DVD players, PCs, servers, and devices such as PCs and projectors that support receiving and displaying the content. A stable network environment and necessary switch equipment are also in place.

Fourth, program design

To meet the kindergarten's current requirements, we selected the Aoku HD encoder to capture and encode the high-definition video signal from the camera. The encoded signal is then transmitted via the network to the Acool streaming media server (AMS). The server collects the input signal and distributes and stores it, enabling devices like PCs and projectors in multiple classrooms to receive and view the content through a fast and stable educational private network. This system integrates modern streaming media technologies, video/audio compression techniques, and network solutions for efficient performance.

Fifth, features of the program

1) This solution uses a high-definition encoder and a streaming media server, ensuring future scalability. If more signal sources are needed, additional encoders can be easily added.

2) The system is quick to implement, requiring only network cabling without additional wiring.

3) The AOKU HT9001 HD encoder supports audio capture, and the decoder and streaming server also support audio channels, enabling synchronized audio and video transmission.

4) With the streaming media server, the system can record and broadcast content from computers, expanding its functionality.

5) The system supports direct access to the server via networked PCs or mobile devices, offering flexibility and convenience.
