Masquespacio is an award-winning creative consultancy established in 2010 by Ana Milena Hernández Palacios and Christophe Penasse . By combining their distinct fields—interior design and marketing—the Spanish design agency crafts custom-made branding and interior projects with a unique approach that results in fresh and innovative concepts.

Ana Milena Hernández Palacios, an interior designer, and Christophe Penasse, a marketer, decided to merge their diverse industry experiences to create an agency where branding, product design, art direction, and space design could come together as one. Ana Milena Hernández, the founder and creative director of Masquespacio, is passionate about design and everything related to it. For her, design isn't just work—it’s a lifestyle. A lifestyle that drives her to pay attention to every detail in her projects, seeking the optimal solution for each client while ensuring their brands stand out with fresh and innovative ideas.

Christophe Penasse, co-founder and marketing director of Masquespacio, loves creating new concepts for his clients, emphasizing the design and identity of each brand. He’s passionate about everything related to marketing and design. Currently, in addition to his role at Masquespacio, he also serves as chief editor for Blog del Diseño, a design-focused media platform founded by Masquespacio.

The design duo has been making waves in the design world. Since its inception in 2010, Masquespacio has gained international acclaim, earning recognition from prestigious design magazines and awards such as “Massimo Dutti New Values” by Architectural Digest Spain , “Wave of the Future” by Hospitality Design USA , and “Young Talented Awards” by Elle Decor .

Every time Masquespacio unveils a fresh collection or design project, we can’t help but anticipate catching a glimpse of each beautifully crafted piece and decor. For design experts, Essential Home is "first and foremost, a mid-century inspired design. Secondly, a high-quality production that moves away from the timeless neutral creations we’ve seen from Scandinavian brands, offering an aesthetic that focuses more on evoking emotions and unique forms."

“We were drawn to the brand a few years ago. We felt they were creating a unique aesthetic with a strong emotional element translated into furniture collections filled with surprising details. When Essential Home reached out to us, we were thrilled from the start to develop some designs for them. It’s crucial for us to feel connected to the brand we’re working with, and that was certainly the case with Essential Home. So, we proposed a wide range of products, from chairs and tables to bar stools and even some lighting features. All the designs are divided into 2-3 main collections, each with its own aesthetic and concept.”

The collaboration between Masquespacio and mid-century brand Essential Home has resulted in a unique collection, aptly named “Hollywood Glamour” : a mid-century modern collection inspired by three of the most popular movie styles from that era, ranging from passionate love stories to lively burlesque environments. The goal is to bridge the gap between past and present by reviving the vibrant side of old Hollywood glamour.

“Our new collection is brimming with emotion, organic forms, and contrasting materials, showcasing new textures.
