Roche Bobois Reinvents Iconic Pieces at Salone del Mobile

Collaborating with celebrated designers such as Marcel Wanders, Kenzo Takada, Ora Ito, Cédric Ragot, Sacha Lakic, Christophe Delcourt, and Stephen Burks, alongside prestigious fashion houses like Jean-Paul Gaultier, Missoni Home, and Christian Lacroix Maison, the brand continues to redefine luxury through its bespoke offerings. Each piece is crafted with meticulous attention to detail in small European workshops, ensuring a high level of customization. At Salone del Mobile, Roche Bobois unveiled its Spring-Summer 2022 collection, demonstrating how the brand effortlessly blends creativity with functionality to stay ahead of contemporary trends.
A standout piece from the collection is the Speed Up sideboard, originally designed by Sacha Lakic in 2005. This iconic design, characterized by its striking 3D glossy Daquacryl facade, has undergone a transformation into a wooden version adorned with 64 uniquely crafted oak slats. Another highlight is the Sense sofa, which marks its third generation. Enhanced with advancements in fabric technology, it presents a fresh graphic expression while maintaining its timeless appeal.
The Domino takes inspiration from Roche Bobois' rich history of modular sofas, beginning with the iconic Lounge in 1971, which paved the way for the Mah Jong. Redesigned by Sacha Lakic, it preserves its retro charm with opulent, dual-toned curves.
Finally, rounding out this impressive lineup is the Aurea outdoor collection. Made from reclaimed solid oak panels sourced from old SNCF freight cars, this collection offers an environmentally conscious alternative without compromising on elegance. The result is a series of pieces featuring soft contours and a tactile surface with subtle veining, available in tables, benches, and folding chairs.
