According to reports, this kind of bag contains a special ingredient. When the consumer presses the button outside the bag, a chemical reaction occurs inside the product to heat the product. The bags are made of polyester, polyethylene, and aluminum, respectively, as required. For ease of drinking, there is a straw on the outside of the package.

Self-heating bags have been marketed in the Asia-Pacific region including Malaysia and South Korea, but are mainly used for the packaging of herbal medicines. At present, this bag can only be heated to 35 degrees Celsius, and developers are gradually studying to raise the temperature to 60-70 degrees Celsius to meet the needs of beverage heating.
