Trek has always been known for its high-quality craftsmanship, and the SuperFly 9 is no exception. At first glance, the frame looks almost like a carbon model, especially when you don't look closely at the head tube area. The E2 conical head tube design, combined with a 1-1/8 to 1-1/5 inch taper, enhances fork stiffness. The top and bottom tubes are directly welded together, eliminating the need for additional reinforcement, which helps reduce overall weight while maintaining structural integrity.

The upper tube features an elliptical geometry, giving the frame a dynamic and aerodynamic appearance.

The frame is designed with streamlined lines, featuring an inverted triangle shape on the top tube. The head tube connects directly to the rear dropout, creating a strong and stable structure that provides excellent support against both longitudinal forces and lateral torsion.

The cable routing is thoughtfully designed for user convenience.

Internal cable routing ensures better sealing, protecting the shift cables from dirt and debris. Since the launch of the more affordable XX1 groupset, SRAM has made high-end shifting technology accessible to a wider audience. Many "sports" riders can now enjoy the benefits of the latest dual-pivot single-disc system. SRAM has incorporated many of the technologies from XX1 into the X1 series, making it closer in performance to XX1 but at half the price.

The wheelset on the SuperFly 9 includes Bontrager Mustang Pro Tubeless Ready rims and Bontrager XR2 Team Issue 2.20 tires, all set up for tubeless use. The frame uses a 142x12 rear hub standard, delivering strength comparable to many Enduro models.

The Bontrager Race X Lite handlebar and stem provide a classic XC setup, with a 31.8 mm diameter and 690 mm length. The carbon fiber construction helps dampen road vibrations, reducing the impact felt in your arms.
